The Nike Air Huarache designed by Dario Villaseñor Valdivia is one of six sneakers featured in Nike's Doernbecher Freestyle XVIII collection. The '90s runner has been reimagined with a fresh look that draws inspiration from the young designer's personal interests. Dario’s fruit of choice gets a nod with orange pebbled leather upper and a leafy green midsole. Meanwhile, the toe box is adorned with an illustrated figure taken from his stick animation on YouTube and his long-haired plush toy is saluted with the furry lining. The phrase 'Siempre Fuerte' (which translates to 'Always Strong') is visible on the clear rubber outsole, adding a motivational touch to the design.
