The Nike Dunk Low SB ‘Be True’ honors a classic with a tribute to tolerance. Xavier Schipani, an Austin-based artist identifying as a trans man, created custom graphics to adorn this low-top that celebrates the LGBTQIA+ community. A white mesh base on the upper with leather overlays in vibrant yellow on the forefoot and gradient lilac-to-pink on the heel combine with asymmetrical Swooshes on each side panel in blue and pink. Branding for Nike SB and Be True alternates on the woven tongue tags. The insole salutes the strength and bond of trans communities around the world with a symbolic chain link graphic.
